yes, it is old. and yes many are wondering why i have it. and i want to stay with it. everything is working fine. except...
i have had a running daz studio with daz install mananger installation.
daz install manager could not update itself since last year. ok, no problem. everything was working.
but now i clicked on install new daz studio... and this version was NOT running on winxp. stupid thing, why could i download and install it dear programmers? however, that was my first fault.
then i thought, okey, remove all and download it from the net... now i have a stable daz studio again... but i cannot find a daz3dim for winxp, which is still working.
anyone can help me please?

I doubt you will find earlier DIM versions anywhere unless someone has been downloading each update. Mine is on automatic update and I am running Win 10 & 11 on my machines.

The only way you MIGHT be able to get a version old enough to work on XP and it be legitimate(no viruses/malware), would be to file a ticket over at Daz and nicely explain your situation ad ask for an older version. But they might not even be able to or be willing to give you a copy.

... except it isn't.
But I do feel your anxiety. WinXP was solid and so was WiNT, it's predecessor. And so was Win7. And so was...
I still have several old systems with some those OS's still on them in the proverbial closet, all pretty much for the same reason.
And how much time have you put into this so far? At some point, it's really just better to move on. You might consider what the actual cost is, not just monetarily, but in your TIME, to sorta get it working. And this Sword of Damocles issue will always there you know, even if you are lucky this time.
And also, NOT being able to take advantage of numerous hard and software advances that simply allow things to work better.
Just my 2¢

Yes. Time is all we really have. Some of us have less that others.
