Came across this tutorial and it reminded me of similar tutorials using js placement which if I am not mistaken is no longer in development but was a unique tool for creating Sci-Fi detail onto your models here is a similar workflow but using Inkscape which is still Free and now at version 1.4 so it has made some very significant improvements hope you enjoy the tutorial
