I've been using safari as web browser for quite a long time and the cache seems full of stuff:
...altho this snapshot doesn't show much, there's another view in safari that shows 50 or so sites I've visited. if I try to click on all in order to delete them, it won't let me. there must be another way to access the browser cache but I cannot find it.
plus I think I'll want to save some of them into the new browser so they'lll be "at hand".
I could use some expertise ...

I don't have a mac so I have no idea how to do that but here are some instructions that seem pretty straight forward. https://oit.colorado.edu/tutorial/clear-web-browser-cache-safari

On Mac, there's an awesome program, full of functionalities to clean & optimise, but it isn't free, although not expensive CleanMyMac.
And no, I haven't anything to do with them: they don't need me
