I loaded l'homme 2 pro and pants and t-shirt conformed and parented to, but when I start applying FBMs, it falls apart?

what is CORRECT procedure? different?

The clothing doesn't have the same morphs as the figure. The clothes needs the morphs added.

• Select the Clothing (the shirt)
• From the top menu choose Figure > Copy morphs from ...
• Choose the source of the morphs (l'homme)
• Choose the morphs you want to copy or [Select All]
• [OK]

This may take a minute depending on how many morphs you copied.

The clothing now has all the morphs you selected in it. You can save the already morphed clothes to the library so you don't need to do this again,

thanks, nerd. with your directions I got 3 of my l'homme 2 actors well outfitted, but on the last, I saved him to library NOT as a whole group, which would have kept him dressed but as the other choice that left him nude and bumpy in stomach and waist. and now his clothes look terrible: is there any way to fix this short of starting over again from basic character and doing both body and face ,morphs from scratch?

You said the figure loaded with the odd waist. You'll need to fix it in the figure before you can fix it in the clothing.
