I'm not sure where exactly to post this, so I'm going to try under the DAZ Studio forum thing.

I recently bought the Forsaken Abattoir environment and it's doing something...odd...when I go to render the images I set up in it.

When I use the Iray viewing setting in the main panel of Daz Studio, everything appears fine. However, when I go to click render, all I get is a black screen. It doesn't seem to matter what I do with the exposure value. Has anyone else had this issue with the same product? I'd like to talk to the person that made it, it's been a few days since I sent them a message and they haven't responded.
Here's the product I'm talking about, by the way: https://www.renderosity.com/marketplace/products/151754/forsaken-abattoir

I'm not sure if it's a problem with the product or if I'm just missing something.
Either way, thanks in advance!

There are a lot of possible reasons for this. You might be behind a wall, or under the floor, or on the wrong side of a scene dome. You also might be in the wrong environment mode, such as scene only, interior lights turned off, or maybe not rendering in iray. My first suggestion would be to go to the editor tab and hit the default button, and then check the environment tab in the render pane. When I get the black render, it's almost always because of wrong lights, environment, or I'm under the floor. What it's usually not is the product. (like never, at least for me, I have had problems with hair, but again, it was me on the wrong version of Daz).
