Your best bet is to contact the vendor directly and get a working link for the free product. Asking someone for availability may be against the owner's ULA.

Irrelevant. A ULA has no time limit unless strictly specified in writing or the vendor's Estate relinquishes its rights. I know this seems unfair and deprives you of obtaining dated free content, but the legality of the licensing terms prevents sharing them without the vendor's consent.
