Hi all, I have been looking for a samurai helmet and armour for a long time.. Ecstacy has just posted a pic in the poser gallery using a Samurai helmet he/she found somewhere in the webring, but, alas, cannot remember where from.. if anybody has seen this, or knows eher to find it, please let me know! cheers, Kromekat

Try the one in the freestuff at www.3dcafe.com. Do a search for "Kabuto" ... a VERY nice one indeed! Eyecatcher

Also ... Xurge (Steelproportions) had a Japanese helmet on offer as a freebie a few weeks back. Might mail him..

If you can get hold of the "Manchu" Rena & Steve did a while ago (ask Rena ..she is a sweety) I have done a nice armoursuit texture for his clothes pack..

I do have the helmet if you need it. And for the Armor you will need to wait a couple of weeks. It's still in production.

Does the kabuto work for you? I have it in 3ds and everytime I load it into Poser it blocks up the machine. As for armour....

Angola, beautiful armor. I've been looking for oriental armor, too.I tried making some, but it doesn't look anything like this. Good work so far.

Thanks, ihawk. The render is a bit duff ( the lacqeur effect is giving me a real headache) but I'm pleased as punch. Also my apologies to Paul Nevain (Pnevai)who is of course Peter Nevai, and will probably never make me any primitives again. angola (not to be confused with angora)
