I just tried to buy this, but the Daz server seems to be sick again. So far it has billed my credit card twice and I have been unable to download even once, indeed the direct link that the reciept sent me leads to a file that does not exist (according to the server). This is very annoying. Seems to happen all the time at weekends from posts I have seen here and elsewhere. Wish they would fix it. Online stores should be fully functional 24/7 and 52/1 if they want to do internet business. frustrated STORM

Forgot to mention, the first render is the morph for VPosette.

Storm, exact thing happened to me when I tried to buy her! Hopefully DAZ will fiz it soon!

Well I am glad I am not the only one, not that I wish it on you ookami, or anyone. I was getting a little freaked for a while, been a bad day so far, problems with morphing Vicky (see thread below) and now this. Yea I hope Daz will get on this soon. They are a great company, even if my "het-up" post of above makes it seem that I think otherwise. Its just that it is soooooooooo....annoying when this happens. I am now practicing deep breathing, it is calming, but my wife thinks I am mad not knowing that I was spending money on Digital Dolls and consequently not understanding why I was a little freaked out. Went there last night after I got an email from DAZ about this. I liked it and thought, heck I don't usually do this, but... And bought it along with the cat and hag. Guess what? I haven't got it. DAZ seem to have gone home for the weekend, their link in the store is screwed (referencing dowlnloads rather than downloads) and I don't get to play.... Am I happy? No I am not. Am I patient enough to wait for Monday before I go apeshit? Yes. :) Nice work Syyd, this has to be a mark in the record books that I have bought a "character" (or rather set of). What a shame I can't play with them....

Add me to the list. Took me 4 tries to buy it. and now I cant even get the dang product. This really irrates me. Daz doesnt answer their phones. They have not answered my email. I sent Syyd a pm on here which she got but she hasnt responded either. :( Am I upset. Damn right!!!!!

Well, at least now I know what I haven't gotten to download Vicky yet.

Jen, I answered your instant message after waiting a bit to hear from DAZ as I sent them a couple of correspondences, and was hoping someone would check on their email. I am very sorry this has happened to all of you, but please understand that this is not a reflection of my work. The product is of excellent quality and I would not offer less. Unfortunately, I am not in a position to give this product to anyone who sends me a receipt. A DAZ product comes in its own installer with a license agreement that is specifically tailored to them. If you receive it without that licensing agreement then that would mean that you have not specifically understood what their policies are, and agreed to abide by it. It could also jeopardize my business relationship with them, because I am bound to sell on their terms. This is as frustrating for me as it is for you. Again, I reiterate, this is a fine product, and I apologize for anyone having difficulty but right now it is a situation that is beyond my control, although I am wishing fervently for a response from DAZ. Sincerely, Syyd

No problem with you at all Syyd, it is not your fault their server is going gaga (in my latest attempts to download I was given options to download Vicky 2 (which I have) and the Ant. I saved the web page in case nobody believes me ;o). The only reason I bought Destiny is that it appears to be a superb product. I am really looking forward to using it and confirming this (eventually) from experience. Thanks for trying to help but it is not your problem so enjoy your Saturday. STORM

Storm, thanks for your support, and when you get the product I hope you enjoy it. I guess I will wait to buy Anton's skeleton till tuesday then. Im dying to use it. Unfortunately as I mentioned, there is a license in that product. We are not merchants, and DAZ offers support on their products, as we only broker them through DAZ. I really feel badly this has happened to everyone, but its beyond anything I can do. My daughter has a dance recital and birthday party today so I have to fly out of here.

Once Daz gets this fixed, will someone please post a reply here. I was just about ready to buy it myself when I read this, and still hope to be able to get it this weekend. BTW, is Daz located in the US? If so, we may have to wait even longer. Monday is a holiday here.

Yes, I got the model downloaded without problems just five minutes ago. I don't understand all the trouble. I've bought quite a number of things from Daz and never experienced any trouble. Hmmm. And yes, Daz is located in the States. :) Greywolf

me too, I bought it from DAZ but cannot download it the link is bad...I emailed them and when the are back I will be able to play with the package....
Questor posted Sun, 27 May 2001 at 12:12 AM
Greywolf, the trouble seems to be related to the server software, when it assembles the links it creates nice neat little typos... The link for my download references a "dowlnloads" (note extra L) so there's nothing I can do. Editing the reference doesn't work because they are using a redirector system not an actual pointer. I assume others are getting the same problem. Obviously if you have Destiny then it's a random thing in the link assembler routine. Trust it to go wrong on a Friday night after DAZ have pootled off home for the weekend... :( Oh well. There's only another 48 hours to go....
