Okay...sorry if this is a dumb question. Or if it's been asked already. But how do you make a MAT Pose file? I would like to do that with my new Heather Texture when she is finished. Thank ya in advance!:o)

Good question Niki.. I'm curious about that my self. in fact I"m curious about what the frell a MAT pose file is 8 )

I don't know the techie details, but you apparently load it as a pose file and when you click on it in Poser, it automatically loads the textures for you.

OK, to go a step further, I've noticed Syyd Raven's MAT files for her Vicki and Mike textures in the free stuff. Does this mean you have to already have the textures she sells in the stores first to use the MAT files, or are the textures a part of the file? It seems odd that she would make them available free when she's selling them in the stores. Melanie

Yes, I'm guessing you have to have the textures already to use the MAT files. I know with my freebie MAT file for the Ultimate Lamp (available at the link) doesn't come with any new textures -- they just make it easier to apply the lamp wood texture. In other words, it's easy to create a MAT file to work with textures the user already has. azlEowyn posted Sat, 26 May 2001 at 9:33 AM
yes, you need to own the textures, otherwise the MAT file is no use to you. the MAT file simply has the information Poser needs to automatically locate and load the textures on your figure.
