This is a scene in a '50's drive-in created with my friend RedKed...and I don't remember how SHE got to put HER name on the place! Except for the tables, chairs and motorcycle, everything was created by us in Max. Of course, Poser 3 is credited with the figures. All Poser textures were created for the scene. The exterior is fully detailed also and lit in neon. It's completly off topic as there are no Poser People in the exterior rendering...so I'm not posting that...unless I'm begged to do it... :)

redked_logo.jpg RedKed's management has decreed that they will follow the recommendations of their Marketing Department and will delay the viewing of their new building until some actual customers can be lured in to populate the now sparse parking lot. Be assured we will be working hard to keep this delay to a minimum....mortgage due in 30 days! The Management

I love the image, I can see the love and work that went into it. I'm a purest I guess, but the one thing that bugs me is shadows. there is a conspicuous (sp) lack of sahdows on the countertop, around the chairs and stools, where the woman is sitting. Is this just a feature we as posers nedd to get use to? Am I being a b**t? I'm a fine artist, and notice these nit picky things. I really do love it, the shadows just bug me. Is this an OVerlay of sorts or rendered in Bryce? You can flame me if you want. Boni (Please no tomatoes though, they are so hard to wash out of silk)

Boni...you're absolutly right...there is an apparent lack of shadows. It's more a function of just too damn many lights and they're all washing each other out. We tried for too much of a uniform lit area maybe...typical of a "glaring" fast food place. Virtually every light fixture has a light. As I look at it with your comments in mind, I'M wondering what happened to some shadows that SHOULD be there. Except for the Poser figures, the whole thing was done in Max. and PV...it was my day in the kitchen...Sheperds Pie was my choice for the special...don't know what you're missing!! hehe But, I'll let you know when the Special changes!

Pretty cool. Nice attention to detail. Tone down the lighting a bit and put a guy/girl behind the counter and you've got a terrific environment
