I am consisdering buying the Pro Pack based solely on its new figure creation ability. But I have a question. Are the figures created in the Pro Pack usable by people who only have P4. Say for instance I create a clothing set in PP can anyone use them.

Yes, they are useable by people with only P4. The cr2's will load, however...they won't have an icon in their library (PPP saves a .png thumbnail instead of a .rsr) and they'll get a "higher vesion of Poser" error. After they hit okay to the error, the character loads and works fine.
I keep an instantce of a non-PPP version of P4 installed on my machine, just so I can make sure my figures are fully P4 compatible. I just open them up there and resave to the library which gets rid of the version error and saves an .rsr thumbnail.

Thanks for the info. Do you find the figure creation process to be a lot easier in the Pro Pack?

Honestly I don't really use the Setup room myself -- I find the PHI process to give me a much more professional end result -- but I know many people who find it very useful. The fact that the Pro Pack doesn't use .rsr files (meaning I don't have to quit Poser everytime I modify the obj file) greatly helps my process and, IMHO, is worth the $150 I spent just for that 'feature.'
