I am a totally new in this world, so maybe my question is silly! When I add texture to a person and this texture require transparency, the cloth becomes almost invisible until I render. It is difficult to work with this cloth and impossible to store because you can not see it in your libery files. How do I solve this problem. As far as I can see my question has not been answered in the manual. I am only working with Poser 4.03 Thanks for your help!

Select the element that contains the transparency, then go to the menu under Display and set that element's display properties to Cartoon.

Hello - yes it is correct - you can see a transparency only when the image is rendered ... There might be programms available that replace the *.rsr (this is the file where the image is stored) with another image. I normally store viewable transparencies via a one-sided textbox that includes my rendered image of the transparency-item as a texture ... After that I replace the origin *.rsr with the *.rsr of the then-stored one-sided box. Hope you could follow me - if not ... just mail me schlabber@yourwap.com

Thanks for your very prompt reply! Nice to see that someone wants to help me, however I tried the cartoon solution, but it seems not to work. To repeat...I go to Display/Element style? and choose cartoon? As far as I can see I get the original version and not the textured version??? I appriciate your help Thanks

You won't get the textured version, but you will see be able to see it instead of the dot pattern. Make sure you have the transparent item selected before you change the element display style to Cartoon. There is another option which is to render your image the size of a thumbnail and use the RSR/pict converter in the FreeStuff utilities section to replace the unrendered .rsr thunbnail.
