I'm looking for clothing/props for a Poser female character to create the stereotypical "nerdy lab assistant" look. Clunky eyeglasses, lab smock, and clipboard are the prime things I feel I need for the effect, but other ideas are welcome. They can be for any of the popular female character bodies, I think I have them all by now addicted manic smile. Has anyone seen such items out there (payware is fine) who might spare me some searching? Thanks in advance! Mark

Daz has a couple of pairs of glasses that can be purchased either in their eyewear pack, or, gosh...I forgot what the other is called.

Ghastley has a morphable overcoat which may serve as a lab coat, also a secretary blouse, necktie and bow which may also have the required effect. Don't forget the mousy hairstyle!corblet posted Fri, 01 June 2001 at 10:24 AM
Thanks, folks, those are great! Just need the clipboard and I think I'll be all set. As for the hairstyle? evil chuckle I'm going for the one sported by my boss at the research lab where I (thankfully) won't be working much longer. She's a piece of work, she is, and an endless font of inspiration. ;-) Thanks! Mark

Ah, I just stumbled across three different sets offered right here by Spike. Set 1 looks like it has just what I'm looking for (once I re-color it). Heh, this is fun! Cheers! Mark

I found a pen and clipboard in 3ds format last year... I think it was at the Props Guild or 3dCafe. There may have been another one at Greylight's site? Maclean (I think) did harry-potter styled glasses, but called them something else. Search for "glasses" at 3dCommune and here and you should come up with 3-4 pairs. Someone (Phil?) did a naughty&nice figure with the one as a secretary... but she wasn't mousy. I'm migrained out so my mental links are broken... but the stuff you are looking for exists. Carolly
