While i dont know of any official way to do it, what you may want to do is make the first part of your animation, save it, and then start a new one. Load your previous part, clear the animation frames, and start from that point. The reason your getting an error is probably thanks to one of Carrara's thousands of glitches. You could also try saving the last frame, then start a new animation, and use the merge feature to continue on with your animation. Good Luck! Your pic looks great so far. Cant wait to see the finished result.

Thanks for your answer, I've tried to save the first part of the animation and then load it in a new file, but how can I delete the first frames? Infact I deletede the key-frames, but the result now the animation goes from the beginning "positions" directly to the end "positions". You seggested me to save only the last frame, but how could I do it, is there an "hidden" option? Thanks a lot for your suggestions and I'm happy that you like my AA-01 (this is the name of the plane that I've modeled) See you Andrea

hmm, im sorry that didnt work, it did once for me, but we may be victim to a glitch. There is no hidden option. You may just have to plod along in one continuous animation.

The best way to do it is to load the same file up several times in the batch render que and then set the frame times for each file and the output filename for each one separately. This way you don't have to change the original file at all and you can render as many pieces as you want.
