Hello, a newbie question,:) I have a 3ds mesh of a "humanoid monster" for example, would I be able to import this into Poser and "arrange/move" the limbs as I can a poseable character? or what program/software would I need to be able to 'pose' the 3ds mesh to my liking? Thanks for reading, Snippy

If you have the poser Pro Pack you can. You can only do this in Poser 3 and 4 if you import the 3ds into a modeling application such as 3ds Max or truespace etc... You have to then cut up the mesh into individual body groups such as head, abomen, hip etc. You must name these parts exactly as poser needs them or you may have major headaches when importing into poser. You export as a wavefront object file, then create a PHI file. It is far more complicated than this but it is covered in the manual. plus there are lots of tuts available. Hope this helps. Colm...
