After months (well, a couple of years really) of snatching up all this cool stuff you guys make here on the forum, I want to give something back. :) I'm not a modeler, or much of a texture maker. I can however, make killer sound fx and music, having been a pro musician for the last 20 years and pretty accomplished at movie scores and game soundtracks. I'm going through all of my music files, and some of my old Posertrax files (Posertrax was something I came up with in '99 and tried to market, but I'm not a marketer LOL...) and getting ready to load up some of them to the Free Stuff area tonight. So that I can give you something useful, my questions are: what type of sounds or music are useful, if at all, to you when doing Poser animations? Do you use them in Poser, or a video edit app like Premiere, Vegas, or iMovie? Would you have a preference over .mp3 files with a downloadable converter, or the high-res 16-bit WAV's ready to import? Long pieces of music, or short? Also, what styles? Instruments? Vocal or instrumental? I feel this is an area in which I can make a truly quality contribution to the Renderosity community, but I don't want to waste my time or yours on sounds you don't want or can't use, if this even is something useful in the first place. I appreciate any feedback you guys and gals can give me! --silver
