Hi everyone- What are good websites to find 3D Job postings? Thanks. Aharon.

There are a few. I use to have links to over a dozen 3D/animation recruiting sites, but no one ever checked out that part of webpage so I took it down. These are not as good as the old ones but here a few. The best sites are at the lower part of the list. http://howdesign.com/business/job/search.html http://www.artsource.com/ http://www.cooljobs.com/ http://www.3dcafe.com/ http://www.awn.com/index.php3 (This is probably the best) http://www.highend3d.com/ http://jobsearch.monster.ca/ You may also look up studios and apply there. Why not put together a demo cd and circulated to the advertising and marketing companys in your area. Research independent t.v. and movie production where you live and pitch your creative skills to the independants. Best of Luck.. I can't blieve I had a job offer to create "Production House Logo" for a small film company in Ottawa for $1000, I turned it down for a civil servant job. Next thing you know there movie get's picked up and there t.v. series gets picked up for City TV. It would have been worth it just for the exposure but I thought $35K yearly job or a $1K job for a week. You know I regret my choice a little. Oh well who know maybe they wouldn't of used my work anyways. No point in regretting past decisions. Best of Luck. Deimos.

Thanks. I know how you feel. On the other hand, it's never too late to jump back in there. I've been cold calling every animation hous in my area, and I have almost no credits to my name and a strong technical background (systems/technical manager type stuff). If you regret it even a little, try again. Look for some freelance work. it can't hurt.

Heya Jkeller- Did I hear correctly that Creative Planet bought AWN? Up until a week ago, creative planet.com had job postings, and now it seems like they are selling art related software. My understanding is that they combined their efforts with AWN. I'm not making this up, but I could be misinformed. later... Aharon

Another place that has job listings in 3d graphics and animations is Gamasutra.com. Good luck. Boni
