And yours is better how pnevai? The lighting and composition are aweful, is it better because it rendered faster? Without Auntialis turned on?

I like rezman's better because it actually does have decent lighting an composition, digging the camera angle bud!! It needs tweaked just a bit, but it's a great image. Good Work Rez!!

I totally agree. pnevai has no business posting here. Has anyone seen HIS gallery? My ten year old daughter can do better with her poser trials. pnevai, go back to the tut books and practice what you preach.

I won't hop on pnevai's case here, because I've seen some of his Bryce stuff that certainly outclasses mine. That said, his comments regarding this particularly impressive image trouble me, because they have less to do with rezman's actual work than his choice of favorite app. That strikes me as somewhat out of line in a Bryce forum. Good job, rez!

Thanks for the nice comments guys! Pnevai, if you want to clean someone's clock do it with a great image and great speed. I created this image in a half hour...that includes finding the models on the net and render time. I know Bryce can be dog slow but this went pretty quick. (Of course I did it on a dual Processor G4 500 with over half a gig ram) I did sorta ask for it with my little comment in the subject. But, the point I was trying to make was you can get really nice quality out of a inexpensive program. The stuff Lightwave produces is mindboggling...and I plan on buying it as soon as I can. That being said, I have seen images generated by Bryce that are breathtakingly beautiful...Clay's for example...and I've seen hacky images created by Lightwave that I can't even believe it's possible to create such amateur images with such a powerful program. It isn't the tools, but what you can do with the tools. Stephen

I agree with the comment quality takes time no matter what app you use. some apps make it easier to get good results faster, but no matter what app you are using it still depends on the artist behind the program. As for LadyG's comment pnevai has a gallery full of great renders--but where are yours?--you shouldn't cut on someone elses ability without some proof of your ability...

Yes, please show us your work LadyG.....didn't get much of a thrill goin' through your samples on the business website. As for me, I moved my stuff over the 3DC in November, so if you guys wanna hop on over, feel free to do so. I'm mainly an abstract/DTE type o guy :] -Matt
