Is this possible? Jim, if youre reading this -- Supermodel Vicky is amazing, I love the work you did with her body. She looks far more realistic and appealing than the standard vicky models. However, her head is a little strange - its great for some characters, but its just isnt very versatile for what I need it to do. Is there any easy way to graft vicky 2.0's head onto smv's body? If this is possible, I would probably stop using vicky 2.0 altogether :) If its not too complicated, can someone describe the steps necessary to either graft the head over, or just copy the vicky 2.0 morphs over (if possible)? Jim, with the prettier vicky face morphs out in 2.0, do you have any plans on releasing a 'vicky 2.0 smv update'? Im sure you would make a lot of people very happy if they could combine the awesome body of SMV with the flexible, cute face of vicky 2.0. Thanks

I read your post about SMMV earlier, but you said it wouldnt really be quit like SMV because the body isnt exactly the same (just similar), and the hands and feet would remain vicky's. Is there any way to keep the exact supermodel body and just transfer the head or head morphs? Like a modification to SMV's head rather than modifying vicky's body to look like smv's?

You should be able to se Vickie II or Vickie I head morphs (only) on SMV, you would have to copy and paste them rrom the CR2, or use Morph manager or CR2 editor to get them into SMV's CR2. Actually, as I think about it, you could probably build a head you like on Vickie II and export the head as a morph object too, and fit that to SMV's head, setting it to 1.00 should convert the entire head (including teeth) to th enew look. I'll try that and see if it works. The Vickie II CR2 isn't redistributable, remember, so I can't put the morphs in a SMV update.

Jim, I tried what you suggested - moving the vicky II morphs over to SMV with morph manager, but when I apply them instead of converting the head it just makes a sortof half vicky/half smv face that looks pretty strange.

I LOVE SMV. She looks great - but I need to stay closer to "stock" with my models for other reasons. What I am really hoping for is a SMV morph for Vivki2 ... so if I zero'd it all out and set "SMV" to 1 I';d have SMV, and still access to all the other stuff.

O.K., your wish is my command! At my website you will find a morph set that will put SMV's face back into the default Vickie shape, slightly modified (it is scaled up to the proper size and the edge has been modified a little to fit SMV's neck), make sue you turn all smv morphs off when you use it. It was used in the render inclosed, SMV is looking very asian, to match her new cheongsam, isn't she! Your own you own getting the Vickie II morphs into SMV's CR2, I used MS Word, the fils seem to big for the freeware CR2 edit, I've never tried Morph manager or whatever. Anyway, it works, and the morphs will also be in the next SMV upgrade. Of course you relize this means the SMV owners are going to get the SMMV upgrade free, they will have to buy it like everybody else, as this is a better way for them to use Vickie II's face morphs ;-)Jim Burton posted Mon, 11 June 2001 at 4:58 PM
for "Your own your own" read "Your on your own"! And "SMV oweners aren't going" Proof-reading is a wonderful thing, I'll have to try it someday!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! You rock, Jim.

Your welcome! SMV is still a single purpose figure, but at least now she can be a asian supermodel, or a black one, or whatever!

Ok... so I understand... This is a SMV that can have VII morphs moved onto her - but this is NOT the Daz VII mesh, right?

I suspect that with the right tweaks to the morphs that are already there, VII can be tuend to look really hot. It just needs someone to do it :)

You're right ... it's easy to see the difference for sure. SMV is a great work. We have just decided to standardize on the Vicky 2 geometry for now - and track Daz when they go to Vicky 3 whenever. It is just too important for us to have continuity. Ah well... I'll keep twiddling them dials myself and see if I can get close at least :) Again, GREAT work - it just isn't for us :(
