First of all I have to apoligize for not being around for awhile. I've been pre-occupied with trying to move. It's been a nightmare. So anyway, on to the up coming props. I've still got to get a program that works to "decimate" /reduce poly count before final release. Though I plan to sell these through DAZ I will also have a freebie or two also. If you have any ideas on what you would like to see in the package, or changes you might like in what I have already done, speak up now. I just may have to do a CD :-) Go to this URL to see a preview of things to come. http://www.jnjgraphics.net/poser/props1/wizprops.html Comments welcome. James

James, Neat! I like that staff and the bottle. What else do wizards need? My characters usually have a "girdle of many pouches" or a small box with lots of drawers (think Chinese apothecary)and a preservative spell to hold all those spell components. My 5th level gnome relies on her pockets , the others need special furnishings. A small "ointment" jar (like cold cream) can be textured to hold Healing salve. A rough bottle with good stopper(!) can hold "Oil of Slipperiness" and other messy things. A flat black mirror or crystal as a focus or scrying device? A wooden box (with "G" rune? ) could hold more than seeds. We tend to pick up keys, too, so a magical keyring? Circlets and diadems are nice. An amulet which could be textured with tiny icons for the 4 elements might protect a mage from, um, spell backfire? Hope these are thought-starters! Carolly

Things for a wizard CD: Wizard robe for Dork, Posette, Michael & Vicki And it would be cool if they all used the same texture map... that way, you create a texture for one.... and it works on all of them. Wizard hat (pointed), wizard cap (leather type aviator skullcap), and helm (basically the Ming the Merciless type of metal skullcap). Pouches... belt pouches, a satchel, etc. Wands, rings, scrolls, etc.

WOW, those staff and crystall-ball looks fantastic. May you can add some plants (like mistels, mushrooms etc.) wich a Wizzard allways use. May also a bag for all the healthy-plants. SHARKEY

Sharkey, Right. Druids need LOTS of plants, and they cast spells, too. An over-the-shoulder gathering pouch would come in handy. A diadem with a golden oak leaf or golden mistletoe sprig would be REAL NICE. Wicker was used for some containers similar to backpacks. Maybe some wierd-shaped amulets (not cross or star-of-david or ankh or other recognized religion) would help the clerics? Sonimancers use tuning forks. I've seen lots of instruments but no tuning forks. A homunculous bottle (clear with bored little guy?). Astrolabe or other sighting device for doing calculations. Magical map. Let's see, when I did the icons for AD&D Core Rules CD, I also created magical horseshoes, incense burner, candle, crucible, and portable hole among other "equipment". 2-3 braziers. A bottle of moonshine. Golly, it has been a while.... This is fun! Carolly
