interesting image, if you hadnt of said eclipse, I would have mentioned getting rid of the shadow on the planet. The nebulas look ok, but really stand out in the image. too bright maybe. especially if you use the planets backside shadow in conrast to the 'brghtness' of the nebuli. Id like to see how this progresses. Ken

Way to go, P. looking good. I agree with Ken's comments. Maybe one way to deal with the eclipse is to make the shadow larger and give it a fuzzy edge. I haven't tried it yet but can you make a moon sphere that's got a fuzzy edge on it and positioned for a large shadow (which hopefully will be fuzzy too), then put the actual moon sphere over it with cast shadow unchecked so the moon looks real?

Thank you both, i will try this, i have done some retouch on the nebuleas this morning and try again tonight. I will post it tonight maybe. The moon is already fuzzy, but if you look at a distance planet, the moon will do a black dot and you won't see it fussy.

Thats really good work on the nebula, how are you getting that effect, it looks great. If you decide to put the eclipse back in you might want to give negative lighting a try. You can get really good ecliptic effects with negative lights.
