Hello, I currently have Poser 3 and would like to upgrade to version 4.03. Can I just buy the upgrade to 4.03 or do I need to get version 4 first? Maybe this is a stupid question, but I would really appreciate any help on this. Thanks!

Still on this. Is it possible to upgrade from a free copy of Poser 3 ( Computer Arts Magazine give-away )to Poser 4 and subsequently Poser 4.03? How do I go about it?

Buy the Update (Poser 3->4). I got a CD with Poser 4.03. No need to Patch anything.

contact curious labs with this question.Questor posted Thu, 14 June 2001 at 4:52 PM
Curious Labs will not honour the free version of Poser 3 from the magazine. There is a contact number in the magazine for an upgrade store in the UK where they will honour that, but if you are not in the UK the cost is somewhat prohibitive. I'm afraid that if you want Poser 4 you're going to have to buy it. If you can find a dealer that has an upgrade copy then grab that and if it doesn't have the 4.03 update included download it from the Curious Labs website.

Hi fellas. Thanks for all the tips. GREATLY APPRECIATED !!! However, it's rather sad that Curious Labs doesn't honour the free version. cry cry* sniff* sniff*. I live in the states and I don't know how best to transact business with the UK store that is supposed to be selling the upgrade. Any suggestions? In any case, I think my best bet would be to get a brand new copy of the latest version from Curious Labs. Thanks again for all the input!!!!!.
