Illustrate! 4.0 is a plugin for 3D Studio Max. Right now the software company that makes the plug is running a contest where the best submitted illustrations made using Illustrate! will win a free copy (not too bad a prize... it retails at almost $500.00.) I'm hoping I have a shot at it, since my primary obsession is 2D illustrations made with 3D technology. This is my entry in the contest. The figures are P4 Tuxedo and Man, and a bit of P4 woman (in a Nurbs gown.) They were posed in P4, then imported into Max. I was trying for a fin-de-siecle Art Noveau kind of look, like Toulouse Lautrec's advertising posters. -Nemo (still not fully functional... :-< )
