I am still trying out different layer effects, I used the color burn and color dodge to get the hair along with smudge. Adjusted the layers to get a wash effect. Original hair is the curly hair from p4; morphs from traveler; texture is realistic p4 (i think)....

Not bad...I've tried to do my own hair..believe me..I'd be better off letting the hair stylist at the mall do it for me! I think I'll stick to my lil' textures hahaha.. PAN~

Looks more like an oil paining than anything else. If that's the effect you're going for, great!

I was looking for a "painted" look, not a photo look; mostly I am trying to learn the variations with the photoshop layers, I also did apply different colored lights which changed it again. Thank you for your comments.
