Hey all This is part 3 and its took a little over 37 hours to get this far. I have just a couple more statues to put in then it will be ready for the scene set up in vue. I think this is going to give vue a bloody headache from this one. The wings i got from the freestuff i dont recall who they were by but i will when i post the finished render The gargoyle from 3dcafe and everything else by me in amapi. I don`t know what lighting to give it yet as i cant decide on a dark light setup or a light ,light set up. Any comments as to the light setup would be very much appreciated dolly

Lookin' good dolly. I would go with a very dark lighting scheme with alot of shadows, but with light coming from everywhere. Lots of fog too. The type of lighting I would dp with this probably would kill Vue, but I don't ever really try, since I've gotten used to doing alot of that stuff in Painter. I'm always more stricken by pictures with real strong light contrasts, particularly when the larger portion of it is very dark with alot of shadows. Bright light would look good too, but whatever you do, take advantage fully of the objects' placement for throwing around interesting shadows. You could go either way with this depending on your lighting, and whether it's mostly dark or mostly light, the shadows will have alot to do with whether it looks "nice" or menacing. ;)

Either way you decide to go, I can't wait to see the final. That looks great so far. :D Rich

Methinks it needs an imposing background and bold lighting unless you want it to look like a bit of gruesome Wedgwood.
