Subject: Altering Morphs for Genders

I was wondering, does anyone have any tutorial or ideas on how to alter clothes and hair morphs so that they could be used on another gender? For example changing a P4 female hairstyle so that the P4 male could use it. All the guys out there have cool clothes and the like but they look really bleh in general. Where's the Fabios? ;D

The hair can be used on either male or female. Everyone already does this when they want long hair on a man. You just need to adjust the position and slight scaling. Just move it upwards to accommodate for the height of the man, and scale maybe 5% larger to fit his head. I've seen Michael's wedge hair used on the women, too. Just experiment with it. Bring it into your figure and move it around, size it, just try the dials. It's relatively easy to fit the female hair to the male head and vice versa. As for the clothes, I don't make clothes so I don't know for absolute certain, but I believe this really can't be done as the clothes were made to fit the geometries of the particular figures. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the clothes actually made from the figures' bodies in some way? Melanie

I've had the same question as Tivao about refitting clothes. Is there a good tutorial somewhere? I understand that one can morph clothing that is already fitted to a figure, like lengthening a skirt. But the morphing does not seem to change the places where the piece of clothing "sticks" to the figure beneath. Are the principles about how clothing "sticks to figures" and moves with them explained anywhere? Is this in the poser handbook somewhere that I have missed? Can one refit a piece of clothing to a new figure? I will post a real example as a separate and specific question that I was going to ask anyway.

heyas; if you want the female clothing to conform to a male figure (for example)... you can import the male obj (or zero the male figure, whichever you prefer) and use scaling and magnets to make the female clothing fit over his frame. then you'll need to export the clothing with the new morphs/scale/position as an obj. plug that obj into the, say, tuxedo.cr2, and you will have clothing that more or less fits on a man. there's no way to force female clothing, as-is, to fit and stay on a man. or vice versa. :) (well, okay, its POSSIBLE, but it'd be a lot of trouble!)
