I've downloaded several morphs (marked as PC/Mac) such as Vicky Pregnant morphs. Used Maconverter , but = "invalid geometry". 2 of the .obj files open in other 3D apps , but the rest are missing what looks like half the lines: the vertices are there (lines start with V) but no vertices normal (vn lines) or faces (start with f) are the .obj files OK? did anybody get these morphs to work on the Mac? (i'm running OSX , btw) Thanks lieutenant

Actually, DAZ wants those lines (all but the v lines) removed if the morphs are for one of their products. They should still work on a Mac, though. I'll try them on my Mac Monday, unless somebody beats me to it. I know my SMMV morphs worked after I stripped the lines on on my G3 (OS 9), I didn't run them through Macconverter though, I ran them through MS Word (!)(and curse you, Bill Gates!), they worked fine.

Actually , the only ones that work have all the VNs and Faces in them. I took your advice , opened them in word and copy/pasted the VN and F info from one that worked. Now they open. If they have the same number of vertices as the original , then it should work but if i play with them in Cinema4D they go wild again. Still figuring out this thing :( thanks lieutenantGhostofmacbeth posted Sun, 17 June 2001 at 4:40 PM
I think there was a problem with the Pro Pak and Mac .. do you that? I have no problem but I don't have the ProPak .. You might try the Maconvertor and if you are using the propack I think you have to open it in normal poser andexport it again. I think. Good luck

If you try BBEdit for cr2 or obj file editing, you may find it easy to use, Mac-friendly, and it doesn't reformat anything by default. BBEdit opens giant pz3 and cr2 files with no problems in OS 9.0.4, but I haven't tried the pregnant morphs. I don't know if Poser is totally compatible with OS 9.1 or OS X (classic).

Go back to MartinC's site and get the new MacConstructor. Works the trick! Mitch

I couldn't find the pregnant morph, but I did try the fix-flat head morph, which has only v lines, ran it through MacConverter 1.1.2, worked fine on my Mac G3, OS 9.0.4

Gee, spelling, I was absent that day!

I tried Maconverter (1.1.3) , I guess OSX is messing with file types. Tried Resourcerer , BBedit , nothing... We did buy Victoria 2 from DAZ , and it came with all the morphs we needed (an incredible model) , so now i'm getting the client's avatars ready. I'll have to figure this out next week. Thanks for the help from everybody :))) lieutenant

Do you have the Pro Pack? Never got a response about that. If you do that might be the problem.
