Does anyone know the installation instructions for the new patch? Do we just install it over our existing Carrara and 1.01 patch? There's nothing on their website about instructions for it? Anyone? Anyone?

More than 100 bugs fixed, so they say ... It should make a difference ! :) Do anyone know how big is the file ? I am currently at 1.3 Megas and there is no information about the file size ... litst

I'm all excited..Im scared tho. I am in a big project so Im not going to apply the patch for a bit. I would cry if the patch started corrupting my current animation. Everyone post up if you start getting big errors.

FYI - the MAC version is 5.9meg. Took me 11 minutes to download on a T1 line.

I got it around 9:30 am (CST). The updater dosn't come with the "plug-ins" so if you have them in your current version then make sure to move them prior to updateing. The updater works for either V1 or 1.0.1

For those who are having problems downloading the patch, here is a mirror site . It gives the file size (7.46 for the PC version) and download is resumable . litst

I downloaded and istalled the patch after a clean install of Carrara 1.0. I just did two boolean operations in a row and...and...and...(wipes tear from eye), It didn't crash !!!!!!!!!!

I went to the mirror site, thanks litst. It downloaded fine. The file size was 7.11MB not 7.46 like it said, now the fun begins. I'll let everybody knoe how things go, hopefully no crashes.
