Actually, a female version is included. She's basically the same thing, only slightly smaller, and her eye is a little larger in proportion to her body (she's sort of peeking out from behind in the example above; it's sort of hard to tell -- I probably should have put her in front so you could tell she was smaller) and I made her texture map shades of brown, rather than green (figuring that it's the males who are more brightly colored, like many species on earth -- females and juveniles would be brown and more camoflaged). Actually, the texture maps I made are pretty cheesy. If anyone wants to provide nicer ones for freestuff, that would be great. I would be more than happy to host them at my site if you don't have web space (you would retain all rights, of course). Textures are not my strong suit. My idea of a fancy texture is if I use a color that's not one the basic Paintbrush default colors! Thanks for all the kind words, everyone. And please don't hesitate to let me know if you find things that are broken; I'm very new at this, so there could be a lot of stuff I've overlooked. So I won't take offense if you point out mistakes. I may cry myself to sleep, but I won't take offense. --Terri
