I just came across this section on the Curious Labs website, under their description of Poser4 and its capabilities... ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Animated Deformers * Magnet: With magnets, Poser figures can be sculpted by bending, stretching or pinching. Users can generate morph targets or animate magnets for bounce effects. * Wave: Animate ripples on surfaces such as loose clothing on a 3D figure. * Turbulence: This creates more elaborate special effects such as a splash or explosive blast. All deformers can be animated in both their setting and position, and can be used to create custom morph targets from within Poser 4. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Now, I've been using Poser4 for the best part of a year and all I've ever found were the magnets. Anyone know where the Waves are? Anyone know where the Turbulence is? Any help would be gratefully accepted!! :-) - Hairy

In the menus, there is one that says, create magnet. under it it says Create Wave. the third I think is Light or something. Try that. Have you got 4.0.3.0?

heyas; yep, wave is under magnet, and works similarly. never heard of turbulence.

Hiya! No, I've got Poser4 with the 4.02 update. The 4.03 update just messed up my settings and refused to let me export to Bryce... :o) Can you post a screen-shot of the menu you're talking about, Adminags? I've just fired up Poser and went through all the menus. There's nothing there about creating anything other than full body morphs or walk paths... Bugger. Forget that last part. I had the camera selected. Once I selected a body part the create wave option appeared! So, nobody's heard about Turbulence then? I wonder why CL have that posted on their site...? Cheers Adminags and Bloodsong! :o) - Hairy

Waves and Turbulence can be found in the index to the manual. (Turbulence is one of the dials you get with a wave.)

It certainly did, Jef! And thanks to Doozy for pointing out the big dial that says "Turbulence" on it. I must be going blind in my old age!! :o) Cheers! - Hairy
