Neglected to say that after I determined that the .obj and the texture map were correct, I saved the .obj as the original morphed Hokusai jacket 2 (FJacket2.obj), saved the texture, deleted the .rsr in the geometry folder and it loaded without a hitch-posable, morphable-great. I love Steve Shanks tip about bringing in the new .obj model as a prop and making sure it and the texture/template are correct before replacing the original file. Wouldn't have crossed my mind in a month of Sundays. Diane

Well, some of the things you mentioned before helped. Telling me to flip the verticals for an .obj in Poser was a good tip, for instance (I said above that maybe I shouldn't have flipped the verticals, but that's just for the texture, not the model I discovered). I went ahead and remapped the FJacket1 of Hokusai's also and that went totally smoothly. I took your advice and played around with mapping types and other stuff within UVMapper and see that you can do a lot with it for various purposes. Thanks, Diane

Diane - To include an image in an existing thread, copy and paste this line and change the name of the image: Just change the address and image name to yours. This HTML script means Image (IMG) and Source (SRC). The name of the image you specify tells the HTML where to look for it, so you will have to have the image uploaded to your website beforehand. Ooops! Forgot that it would actually work ;-P the line is: (IMG SRC="http://www.ecsis.net/~striker/Beam.jpg") But you'll have to replace the ( and ) with the < and > Newc (King of Oopsies)

Thanks Newc. After over 6 years on the net, I still haven't gotten a web page up. I've worked on it-but other things always get higher priority. I haven't had a really good reason to put one up--until now. Hopefully late Fall or Winter when I have some unbroken time (like more than an hour or so at a time), I'll get it together. And--hopefully, by then I'll have my act together with Poser and Bryce and can offer some goodies myself. Diane

I can throw a basic site together for you, if you'd like. I'll have plenty of free time this week, since Bryce will be rendering an image that will take at least a week to finish, and I can do anything besides 3D while that's going on. Will an Index page with links to a Gallery, Downloads (if any), and a Links page be enough? If you can provide the host and the files, I can get the whole thing up this week. It won't be as fancy as FairyWoods (not my design style), but it'll load quickly and have all the info you want on it (image info, credits, etc). Although I haven't updated it in a while, visit my page at Xoom for an example. Like I said, it's nothing fancy, but it gets the job done and is quick to do. Newc
