When you have 'Genitals' unchecked in your Figure menu, Poser replaces the hip of the male characters with an alternative hip object. You would need to remap the object as well and edit the cr2's 3rd obj referece to point to the remapped version of the object. Hope this helps.

JeffH and PhilC, thanks for responding. Let me explain my confusion. As I understand it there are two ways to go about remapping an obj. The first is to export an object to mapper. The problem with that method is that you can't configure the map using groups as it is one enity. The second way is to export an obj from poser, ie malenude. In this instance you can regroup the texmap but in poser it will have genitals. That is the crux of my problem. What has to be done to reconfigure a texmap on the p4malenude without that pesky genitalia. You have to wonder why his little pee-pee sticking out is the default. It should be the other way around. Gentlemen, I thank you for your indulgence and hope you can shed some light on how to accomplish this. Thanks

JKeller sorry I was looking at a response from JeffH. It stuck in my mind. The first sign of remapping dementia. Thanks for the help.

I've been called worse =) If you follow the provided link to the illustrius PropsGuild, there's an alteration of the P4 Nude Male that I made way back when that uses the NoGen hip to permanently replace the hip with the pee-pee. It comes with a .pcf, so you'll need Objaction Mover to decode it. If you re-map the object that Mover decodes, and use the cr2 I've provided with the download (it's important to use this cr2 because I've cut the genitalSwitch coding out of it), you won't have to worry about those pesky genitals any longer. Hope this helps.Steve Cox posted Wed, 27 June 2001 at 8:42 AM
Hi Darkorb - Sorry, my response to you must have gotten lost somewhere. I just went through my 'sent items' folder and tried sending it again (though it seems that everyone here was more helpful than I was...) Thanks for the help everyone, Steve
