Subject: First Vue 4 image

Greetings, I finally got a few minutes to play with Vue 4 and here is my first pic...it's not as nice as the ones on the Extra CD but I find it already better than the ones I did in Vue 3. :) This pic took 8 minutes at Final render quality with a DOF blur, with all volumetrics ON at 75% quality boost but I did turn off the lens flare. I really like the new settings/features and aside from the lack of LW 6.x scene export it's awesome! :) Cheers!

Hi, I have got my Vue 4 some 2 hours ago. It is sooooooooooooooooo great. By the way they've send to me copy 34 of the first 100! LOL, Bernie P.S. I have to leave and play!

you make me sick the lot of ya i cant get mine for 2 monthes sob cry and im so sad boohoo pic is great lol vue4 looks to be a great piece of kit

Hi dolly how come you need to wait 2 months? You are right Vue 4 is impressive...it's got some minuses but they are quite outnumbered by the pluses. :) Cheers!

I fully understand dolly I am in the same boat but Vue 4 was too much for me not getting it. I can't believe I was an evangelist of Terragen and now I am completely converted to the Vue Church lol. Varian, I don't even like my shot...and yes Vue 4 can produce awesome images even in a few minutes. :) Cheers!

Varian, I don't even like my shot... Really? I think it has potential...maybe add a couple trees, a wagon... Of course, the best part is that you can work with this scene or toss it out and work with a zillion others! Man, I love Vue! :)

Well, Like I said before I am interested in adding my CG models in LW rather than in Vue. :) It's a bummer Vue 4 still doesn't support LW6 objects, I hope to see this added in an upcoming update. Cheers!
