The version is probasbly only free for usein conjunction with Victoria. Which is not free and can only be purchased at Daz. What in the world did you get free at DAZ?

It was probably the updated Cr2 that KINGSLAYER downloaded. The only way to legally obtain the OBJ is to buy it from Daz3D.

To KINGSLAYER :: Don't ask for the .OBJ file on these forums or in the chat room, or this list's management will likely ban you. You must buy it from Daz.

I think this guy isn't aware that the Victoria model is only for sale. I think he has made an honest mistake. Just to exaplin... The Victoria (and Vicki 2) models are for sale at DAZ. There are several free updates, etc. for Victoria on DAZ's website. BUT... these upgrades, free characters, etc. all require that you have either Vicki or Vicki 2 already installed. Without purchasing Vicki (1 or 2), you cannot use the free updates, etc. from DAZ. I can highly recommend the Victoria 2 model. With it's Vicki2P4 model, it makes Vicki 2 the most versatile model available. Good luck! PS - This forum, as you may have noticed from the big banner at the top of each forum, does not support any type of piracy or illegal distribution of copyrighted material (such as the Vicki OBJ). Now that you are aware, I wouldn't ask again for it. =)

Hi Folks! I'm cobfued too, Marque. I bought the Vicki2 upgrade and a CD version of the Vick1i .obj and Clothing Pack a few weeks ago. Has ther been a new cr2 for Vicki2 since then? Peter (Dr Zik)

He may be referring to one of the freebies in the freebie area. Like the Viking woman morph/pacakge.

Marque: There were some issues with the initial Vickie release regarding her hands and a few other things. I can't honestly remember what they were. Daz released an updated file to fix these issues that is freely available on their website. It's just a cr2 fix. Depending on when you bought Vickie you may well have the updated cr2 already. I don't know about the cd, but I would assume that would be the updated version also. If in doubt, check the file date in the Vickie zip you downloaded from DAZ initially - or install the executable to it's own directory and check the file date that way, then compare it to the file date in their update section. If your date is earlier, download the new one.

There are free .cr2's provided on the DAZ site that are stripped of all the V2 morphs so they can be used for legal distribution of Vicki based characters. I believe that may be what KINGSLAYER is referring to.
