Can you see the smile on my face? The baby is HEALTHY!!!! Yeah!!! The heartbeat was at 146, they said that was normal range. But let me tell you this. I hated that place with every fiber in my body. We arrived at 8:30 after traveling over an hour. By 9:30 they still hadn't seen us. By 10 I went and said soemthing. Come to find out there was an emergency and the doctor wasn't there. We ended up seeing the genetics counselor for about a half hour and then went back to the waiting area for another hour. Now its 11:30, we are hungry, tired, Amy wants to do something( I must say she was perfect there considering she stayed there for over 4 hours)Finallly we get the tech to do the u/s. I am looking so hard at the brain and the spine and the heart. Everything looked good to me..another 30 minutes go by before the doctor finally comes in. He says the baby is in perfect health. They want to see me again in 3 weeks, luckily they will be in my town then so we won't have to travel so far. Yeah. Oh yeah..IT'S A GIRL!!! I was so very wrong about the sex. I was so sure it was a boy. But it is definate....lol So our daughter's name will be Crystal..Don't have a middle name yet, but hey who cares...she is healthy and that is all that counts right?
