Hi all, I'm confused. First I get an email saying it's a free upgrade for previous Carrara users and then yesterday I get the email telling me it is $99.00. What gives? To we get a bunch of extra stuff for the $99? Is it worth it? I really don't have the $99 to spend, but if it is the only way I will be eligible for future updates, then I guess I will have to justify it. It does burn me though that if it were still with Metacreations, the v1.1 upgrade would have been free! I would like to know how other people feel about this. What say you Clint? Regards, Vern

It was my understanding that the patch would be free, but that the Studio package (including Amapi) would be $99. I already downloaded the 1.1 patch, and that was indeed free. So far much viewer bugs. I have gotten a few "unable to render" messages, but on the whole it has been a huge improvement in performance. I won't know if the upgrade to studio will be worth it unitl the package gets here! --Terri
