Demon wings are availavle at daz3d.com and the MarketPlace here, and you'll probably find some at bbay.com or some of the other stores for sale. I don't think I've seen any in Free Stuff, but there's too much stuff for me to keep track of there. The most used dragon is available for sale at daz3d.com. Anton used to have one at bbay.com but I don't beleive that's available anymore. You maybe able to find his old version if you scrounge around the net long enough (though it's not technically a dragon in my book cuz it only has 2 legs. Bloodsong has one for sale at 3dmenagerie.com. Konan has one, but his url escapes me at the moment. And the latest on is PhilC's which is available for sale at the MarketPlace here (also, in my book, it's a wyvern and not a dragon due to the fact that it only has 2 legs). Hope this helps.

Don't get your dragon/wyvern distinction. All mamals and reptiles on this planet are variations on a basic quadraped design, from humans, to apes, to bats, to dolphins. So winged dragons would have two legs, wingless dragons would have four. Now, on PERN.... Ciao! Joe

Anton's Dragon V2 is available now at bbay. I just bought it and it's very good - and cheaper than the DAZ one. Like the DAZ dragon, it has FOUR legs plus 2 wings. Dragons being mythical, they don't have to slavishly conform to standard earth-biology. I believe the 2-wing/2-leg version 1 of Anton's dragon is still available somewhere on the net as a freebie, which you can probably find if you search. The $20 for dragon V2 was well worth it, in my book.

Like I said... "in my book." There may be many mythological sources that disagree with me on this, and my distiction may be based more on fantasy literature by contemporary authors than documents based on historical superstitions...but at the same time these models seem to be based on the same literature and corresponding artwork for the most part But here's how I figure it: 4 legs, 2 wings = dragon 2 legs, 2 wings = wyvern 4 legs, 0 wings = wurm However this varries depending on which fantasy series one is most familiar with, so this is by no means a hard rule.

Yeah JK, I can go with your dragon/wyvern/wurm classifications. It works for me. Anyone else can use whatever they want to.

well as i see it, as long as it has legs, wings and a mean @ss attitude, its a dragon for me.

I'll go with that one!

Good enough.
