Poser figures can be quite extravagant when render in Poser 4, but when imported to Bryce 4 the texture looks kinda dull when rendered. Does anybody know how to sharpen them in the texture editor in Bryce 4?

what youll need to do is select each mesh part and in the material lab, turn the ambience down, by default, Bryce sets ambience at like 19.8 or somethng, which is why figures look washed out.

The problem is that Bryce usually sets ambience to black and 100%. You need to map the ambience channel to the texture and set it to a sensible value (depends on the diffusion). Contrary to KenS, you don't have to go through each mesh part. Use Grouper and you can do all parts that share a common texture at once.
