you have any where it isn't in the center of the frame for a comparison?

This one is cropped down a little. I'll see what I can find. I have one which fills the whole frame, I think.

I'm sure if you crop this just right for a thumbnail (and add a little blur to the tnail too) you'd get loads of hits in the gallery!!! It does look a little erm...effeminate if you catch my drift?!? Or maybe the gallery is corrupting me?!?

I have a bunch of English Garden Snails living near a rose bush who's shells are quite similar to this. I have also been thinking of photographing them, but never seem to find the time. Hmmm Maybe today :)

Hey Marsh, these are really beautiful......I dont know why I like shells so much.....but these really appeak against the earth you are using...

I just like walking around on the beach after a storm, picking up all the unusual objects I normally never find..shells are more beautiful that people think, it's just a matter of getting close enough.

Really beautiful pics, r e a l l y . I esp. like the first one. Did you edit it, or is that original photo? Center framing works like hammer. Really, really good, again.

That's the original, the colours went all dull when I scanned so I tried to revive them, but only to make them look closer to the original.

I like them both actually, would make a great series on a wall to me, I always put shell and sea images in the bathroom, and thats not meant to be insulting but rather to create a mood. I love the second one...there's something pure and different about it.

I love the second one, too. even out of focus. I'd say "pretty" :)

Thanks people. I'll remember that bathroom idea! :-) The 2nd one is my favourite as well..those little shells look so unreal, like horns of unicorns.
