Attached Link: an example

heyas; not to stir up trouble, and not to suggest that one person's method is better than any others.... but it is much easier for me to pick up where i left off in the story with a nicely organized table of contents, with direct links to each page. rather than, say, having to either remember what # page i left off on, or temporarily bookmarking the last page i was on (i almost never clean out old bookmarks!), or (egad!) going through the whole thing again, page by page. another cool trick is pre-loading the next page in a tiny thumbnail at the bottom of the current page. but this really only works well with the image and text style, not full-page image style.

Wow, you've been busy!! Pick up where you left off, it's just fine. Darn, now you've given me something to look at for the rest of the night and I won't be getting any sleep!! Radart. (voila, voila.....)

Hi Blood, Actually I've had a textual and graphic index for a while now. However, I did it by episode and didn't list out individual pages. Pieces is beyond 300 pages so I'm not sure listing them all is a good idea, but I like your format. I'll have to mull this over. Thanks, Arthur

(mazdak: sorry i didnt send them to your home page to see all your cool projects, but... well, just wanted this example. and i didnt mean to put across the impression that any of it was my work. :) )

You didn't know I had a comic!!! (Actually I prefer graphic novel, especially since I'm up around 320 pages). I can safely make the claim that Pieces was the FIRST Poser graphic novel. When you start it you might notice the images are not as sweet as those later on. Beside being a rank amateur when I started it was first built with Poser 2! This actually works out storywise since you are following a story that is essentially being retold by Adam/Mogui. Your oldest memories will not be as sharp. Here's the URL: Pieces Page 1 If you enjoy it please tell your buddies.

I'm interested to see what you think about the index formats I've chosen. I've got a text interface and a graphic interface. If you have a slow link you don't even want to try the graphic interface. Graphic Index You guys have inspired me to make my indexes more available. Thanks
