Since we're sharing lyrics and poetry I thought I'd share these. They seem to speak pretty loudly to me at this point in my life. I have some images that I'm working on to go with these. This is Staind from the Break the Cycle CD "It's Been A While" And it's been awhile Since I could hold my head up high And it's been awhile Since I first saw you And it's been awhile Since I could stand on my own two feet again And it's been awhile Since I could call you And everything I can't remember As fucked up as it all may seem The consequences that I've rendered I've stretched myself beyond my means And it's been awhile Since I can say that I wasn't addicted And it's been awhile Since I can say I love myself as well And it's been awhile Since I've gone and fucked things up just like I always do And it's been awhile But all that shit seems to disappear when I'm with you And everything I can't remember As fucked up as it all may seem The consequences that I've rendered I've gone and fucked things up again Why must I feel this way? Just make this go away Just one more peaceful day! And it's been awhile Since I could look at myself straight And it's been awhile Since I said I'm sorry And it's been awhile Since I've seen the way the candle lights your face And it's been awhile But I can still remember just the way you taste And everything I can't remember As fucked up as it all may seem to be I know it's me I cannot blame this on my father He did the best he could for me And it's been awhile Since I could hold my head up high And it's been awhile Since I said I'm sorry

Ok, I've tried to steer out of the poetry bits, coz I had it rammed down my throat at school and grew to hate it - although I admit I appreciate it a lot more now than I used to. However, one that has stuck in my mind is this one; Aloft In the loft Sits Croft He is soft. If I'm not mistaken, from a book 'Best Loved American Poetry' or something similar. (",)

Beats There wonce was a man from Nantuckett! Actually I heard this song. I thought it was quite nice. alittle depressing but quite good. My personal favorite. Whe a problem comes along, you must whip it. Before it get's too strong. Unless you whip it. Nothing gets away? When you whip it! I say whip it. Whip it good. I say whip it. Into shape. Shape it up. Get straight. Go for it. Move ahead. Thy not to distract it? It's not to late. To whip it. Whip it good. Bsteph
