Hi all, question about an old program. In Raydream studio I have been able to do boolean operations for years on my old windows 95 computer. I recently had to move to a new computer with windows me on it and now I always get a requester purchase the operation from Radical FX. Anyone seen this and know what I can do about it. Rich

It's been a long time, but this sounds familiar. I seem to remember that this was a bug and there was a patch for it. Radical FX used to be available from Rayflect and when RD started including it, the release version still had the serial number checking in it. There was a fix, but I can't remember the details. Try applying the patches. Good Luck, Eric Winemiller Digital Carvers Guild Freeware and commercial 3D extensions http://www.digitalcarversguild.com

Thanks Eric. I got the files and they are exactly what I needed. I have now extended the usefulness of RDS for a few more years Rich

You must find the patch to upgrade your RDS 5.0 to 5.0.2 to fix these bugs. The patch was available at the MetaCreations site, but is no longer exists. I found this file at the Renderology's site, a year ago. You can try there, the link is here.
