Hi! Im very new to poser and I cant get the textures to work. Can someone please explain how I use them and where to put them. Thanks

There is some info in the manual. A texture file (say a JPEG) goes in the textures folder (inside your runtime folder) or in a subfolder of that. Then in Poser, select the figure or prop that the texture is intended for. Then go to the materials dialog to apply the new texture.

What rev. of Poser are you using, 3 or 4? I don't know any thing about P4, but I drove myself nuts trying to get textures to work with Poser 3 until I found out there is a patch at Curious Labs for Poser 3 (they call it an Updater, not a patch). Once I installed the patch textures for my props started working correctly. Have your serial number handy, once you install the patch you'll need it to get Poser to run again. And back up all your Poser libraries first. Hope this helps. jon
