I got a chance to try this filter late in the day today. Actually, it was between 7:30 and 8:00 PM. The sun was fairly low on the horizon, and the light was changing fast. The trees are red maple, the brick was a redish brown and the sky was clear blue. Also the wind was blowing about 12 to 15 MPH which is obviously why the leaves on the tree are blured. The D1 was set to ISO 200, f-11 and a 2.5 second shutter speed.

Very very nice I like very much. I'd maybe crop the building out of the right hand side... (I mean the little one that sticks out of the boarder) Otherwise wonderful image

Nice Alpha. Looking forward to seeing more. I just posted a bunch of links for IR above. BTW, I can't see a small building sticking out of the border on the right S. I like the subject/comp. I'm stuck with 'at home' subjects to experiment with until I have time to find others LOL.

I've gotta admit, I love these IR shots, but it's getting a bit technical for me! I might have to actually READ (aghast!) about it to understand it.....
