All right this is a challenge for the brave ones out there that or not scared to get their feelings hurt. Post one picture. The best picture you think you have done out of all your work and we will see where the chips will fall form there. It does not matter what it was made with except that you can not use any Photo or Paint shop programs except to put your signature on it. Just rendered and posted no touch up work. Here is mine.

I'm not a graphic artist, but would love to learn how to use these programs. I think all these pics kick ass. Nice job!

My work isn't applicable to this challenge. I'm a Photoshop artist who uses Poser for preproduction. The artwork is 'rendered' in Photoshop, and strictly speaking, there is no 'post.' I understand the fascination with using the 3d tools by themselves to fully-realize a picture, and all of the examples above are VERY impressive! But I just wanted to gently remind the challenger that not all of us have the same methods or the same goals. My best work is a 13-page homage to jungle adventure comics called Jungle Fun Comics. Here's a link to a PG-13 rated page on Renderosity. The 'URL' link is to the complete work-- be forewarned that this is an adults-only parody. http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=36667&Start=1&Artist=curvasion&ByArtist=Yes

My best render is still FAR from finished, but I thought I'd post it anyway. It's a toy jeep. Stranger Aeons

Hard choice to choose between any of these images. For all out clean render though, I would have to pick AJTOOLEY. I've been to a place that looks a lot like that near Yosemite.

So far My best work is this one, at least I say. And all but the text is render alone using poser.

Spanki posted Thu, 27 September 2001 at 7:39 PM

This is not on the same level as some of the above, but I was really happy with the 'illustrated' quality that came out... straight Poser render, no post (I scaled it down from 900x900 to 700x700).

Cinema4D Plugins (Home of Riptide, Riptide Pro, Undertow, Morph Mill, KyamaSlide and I/Ogre plugins) Poser products Freelance Modelling, Poser Rigging, UV-mapping work for hire.
