Congrats galore, Clay! Might be the first move away from the "geek's toy" image of Bryce. Just the right time, too, now that BBC has used Bryce for fotainment, and you have shown the more artistic/filmic possibilities. Seems like the right time to convey my admiration for your artwork. You know, despite being a dedicated Brycer (no Vue-bashing, I'm Vue-ing, too), I had decided I wouldn't upgrade. Too many negative reactions in the forum, and they seemed genuine. Then I noticed some of your posts and pics, checked out your gallery. Almost ALL your pics have that indefinable "Bryce quality" - something to do with the colors having a jewel-like charm all of their own, like Monet's water paintings. And I thought "OK, overpriced and over-hyped or not - gotta have it". So I ordered my upgrade yesterday. You have a heavy burden on your conscience, m'man ;-)

Congrats, the animation looks great! I was just looking back through your gallery, hands down you gotta be the best bryce artist out there, itsrainin p.s. Can you write some tutorials on your techniques, like making custom volumetrics (like the fire you made) and on textures

A agree on all accounts. And yea, Clay, how about some tutorials so that the rest of us can pretend we can get that good too... ;-) TD

Clay, you never fail to impress. I agree with everyone else, your easily one of the best out there, and a few tutorials certaintly wouldn't hurt. As always fantastic work and big congrats on your movie. -Tempest-

Great work & congrats. I hope Corel is big enough to give you the next couple of upgrades for free, you are perhaps one of their best salespersons. It'd be nice if Corel & Apple were to grace you with a nice ti-book to boot! (Is Bryce better then Vue?)!
