Well I went back and rescanned my negative. Here is a larger freshly re-touched version. Shot on t-max 400, with a 4x5 view camera, 135mm lens.

I like this even better at this size where you can see more detail. The shadowing of the tiered grass areas as it pushes toward the foreground is very intriguing to the eye as b/w. I'm sure this photo would not have the power it has in b/w --in color. Whether you mean it to or not, the photo also has a 'message' or story.

This is definetly better... The details are a lot easier to read at this size. Just curious, but I am guessing that you scanned this with a flatbed scanner.

yes with transparency unit. Kinda sucks but works for now.

Seems like a fine scan to me! I love the sky contrasted against the trees and wood!! Bsteph
