I've never really gotten the hang of using magnets, but at least they used to work for me. Now, I can't even get a magnet to deform a simple square! I have the square selected when I create the magnet, I orient it the way I want it (because the magnet isn't aligned with the square), and when I move the magnet around ...nothing happens. Its frustrating as hell! I've read all the tutorials and they've helped some, but I need something more here. Help!!

Try using the cube instead of the square and flatten it in to a square. Then use the magnets. I had the same problem but the flattened cube works fine.

Thanks Bebop! The cube worked!

Likely the square only has a vertex at each corner.

heyas; or use the ground plane. anthony is correct, the square is just one square polygon, you can't really do anything to it. if any body part you have seems to not respond to magnets, make sure you turn on 'bend' for that part. for some bizarre reason, if you have unbending body parts, the magents dont affect them. use the magnet, spawn your morphs, then turn the bend back off.
