This weekend EdgeNet told everybody that they include a "permanent link" to the original moved Poser Forum. It was there for some 48 hours, and now it is gone. Does "permanent" always mean 48 hours in EdgeNet lingo, and is everything else that was stated and promised by their officials "permanent" in the same sense?

I expect a simple answer to my very simple question. Not an offence, no accusation, just a question. But I think the answer will be of great interest to absolutely everyone who is involved in any way with this website.

Hey Martin, I'm a moderator on this site now. I don't know where the link went, but this site will be undergoing some changes. The name will change as well as some of the content. Give us time to organize. MulderX, I'm absolutely sure you have no idea what your're talking about. Please stick to what you know from first hand experience. I'm a volunteer, and I am not paid to be be here. So, I would appreciate it if there is no abuse thrown my way. You are not speaking to a faceless company when you post here, you are talking to myself or Roy Riggs. Both of us were original PFO members, we were there from the beginning. -Jeff H.

Thank you for the reply, but I don't think that it is an answer. I'm not 100% sure about the name, but I think that it was "Tim" who announced the "permanent link", and I think "Tim" is the boss. Now the link is gone, and there MUST be a reason. Broke of promise? Mistake? I simply want to know. It is essential to know, because it enables everyone to judge your other announcements as well. WebBoy, the original Poser Forum has moved, the link is http://209.164.91.155/main.shtml.

Hmm didn't know we were being judged. Probably a mistake, I don't think Roy knows that Tim placed the link there. We will be adding more links to the sidebar soon, and the PFO may well be one of them. -Jeff H.

Just read the archived posts since last weekend, and you will know why.

I really don't need to read the threads here, I know what happened first hand. The events of last weekend began in June. -Jeff H.

Fine, but then I can't understand why you are so much surprised by the "judgement" bit. See, I am very calm, and I'm (still) (a bit) patient. I never cursed anybody, never flamed anybody, offenced anybody. Not EdgeNet, not you. If some place that you once supported is taken over by someone else, that you never heard of before - and I never heard of EdgeNet until this weekend - you want to know if it is an acceptable place to be. I don't judge EdgeNet by anyones curses, but I also don't judge them by pure announcements. So, if EdgeNet promises something, and 48 hours later it is gone, and the people in charge can hardly remember that there once WAS a promise, this is ...interesting.

Sorry, but I didn't realise Tim had made that promise. I've added a link to the site under the Web Resources. Roy
