And yet another question... Do you know if there is somebody out there developing a plug-in or module that will allow people to render animation in Carrara in the .swf (flash) format? Eovia? maybe in the next release...

velarde, When eovia first announced themselves, I remember it being mentioned in one of the articles that talked about eovia's plans for Carrara. However I have not seen anything directly from eovia mentioning flash so it may be my faulty memory or the imagination of the reporter. mmmh.... Now that you mention it, I think I remember reading that article in MacWeek some time ago... So I guess Eovia is keeping it as a surprise for Carrara 1.5 !

velarde - I don't know about going from Carrara directly to .swf. what I generally do it render the movie as a series of bmps or gifs or jpegs (depends on my mood.) Then I go over to flash and import the first image into a new layer. It then prompts you if you want to import the entire sequence, click yes and it will create a keyframed animation with each image in it's own keyframe. But if you don't have flash then it's kind of useless. You can download a 30 day trial of it at the macromedia site though. Or find a friend that will keyframe the movie for you :) Good luck to you!
